The event was for people who had written, or wanted to write, fiction, non-fiction or children’s books. This workshop explained the mysteries of publishing and help to take writers to the next step.
In the morning, Jane and Claire from Bird’s Nest Books looked at the various types of publishing solutions – traditional publishers, smaller indie presses and self-publishing, explaining the pros and cons of all approaches so that writers could decide which is best.
In the afternoon the audience were joined by our three guest speakers; authors Sue Welfare, Jon Lawrence and Darren O’Sullivan. All three had been successfully published in different ways and shared their experiences with the audience.
